FMGE Registration to begin from 28th Oct at natboard.edu.in

New Delhi (26 Oct): The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced that the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) December 2024 will be conducted on 12th January 2025, in a single day in form of Paper-I and II.

FMGE December 2024 registration will commence on 28th Oct 2024 (3 PM Onwards), and will end on 18th Nov 2024 (11:55 PM). Eligible aspirants will be able to apply for the exam on the official website at https://natboard.edu.in/viewnbeexam?exam=fmge

Last session, applicants were required to pay a registration fee of ₹6,195 in order to apply for the exam. The fee payment can be done online via credit card, debit card, or net banking.

EXAM PATTERN

FMGE exam comprises two parts — each part carrying a total of 150 questions. The question paper consists of overall 300 multiple-choice questions. The question paper for each part of Exam will be divided into three time bound sections, (Section A, B & C) in each part of the question paper, each such section will have 50 questions and 50 minutes of time allotted for the section. Candidates would be restricted to proceed to the next section till completion of the allotted time of the previous section. There will be no negative marking.

A candidate will be declared as passed if he or she obtains a minimum of 150 marks out of 300 in the examination. FMGE is conducted as a screening test for aspirants desirous of getting a provisional or permanent license to practice medicine in India.
