Take a few minutes to review these last-minute tips and try to incorporate them:

A Day Before the Exam

Prioritize Sleep

Aim for a good night’s sleep the day before the exam without trying sleep-inducing medications for the first time, as they may leave you feeling drowsy on exam day.

Limiting screen time before bed will also help you rest better.

Last Day Topic List

On the last day, focus only on highly volatile topics from your Last Day Topic List—those you feel you absolutely need to review. If you haven’t made a list yet, create one in the morning, keeping it realistic based on the time you have. Avoid adding unnecessary topics; don’t push your limits. It’s natural to feel there’s more to cover, but avoid stressing over any topics you couldn’t get to. Focus on what you know and have confidence in your preparation.

Talk to Friends and Family

Connecting with friends or family can help relieve pre-exam anxiety. A quick chat can ease your mind, boost your confidence, and give you a positive outlook before the exam.

Avoid reading anything “New”

Refrain from reading anything new in the final days. Introducing unfamiliar content can overwhelm you and potentially push out crucial material you’ve already mastered. Focus on revising what you know well to keep your mind clear and your confidence high.

Make a Check List

  1. Take a color-printed admit card (on a single page) and a valid ID. Nothing else is allowed.
  2. Dress Appropriately: Choose weather-appropriate clothing to stay comfortable and avoid last-minute stress.
  3. Items Not Allowed:
  • For Girls: No hairbands or rubber bands.
  • For Everyone: No belts, hand bands or other loose items.

Prepare these essentials the night before for a smooth exam day experience.

Just Before the Exam

Arrive Early

Reaching your exam center ahead of time helps calm nerves and boosts mental readiness. Plan your journey with extra buffer time so that, even if there are delays, you can still arrive stress-free and prepared.

Fuel Your Body

Start your day with a good source of glucose and avoid skipping breakfast to maintain energy levels. Eat a balanced amount—avoid overeating—and if caffeine is part of your routine, enjoy a moderate amount to stay alert. Avoid over-caffeinating, as it may increase anxiety.

Manage Pre-Exam Wait Time

During the wait time, avoid overthinking or chatting too much with people around you. Instead, relax, take deep breaths. Remember, this is your exam—you’re prepared, and you’re capable!

Use Rough Work Space

Rough work is allowed on the back of your admit card. If they don’t provide a pen, it’s your right to ask for one.

We advise you to attempt as many questions as possible, as the more you attempt, the higher your chances of scoring. Maintain a steady pace throughout all the slots, stay focused, and keep track of the time. Don’t give up—stay vigilant and keep going strong.

We hope you will qualify the exam (ie INICET) and get your desired rank, Best wishes!
