NEETSS Exam was conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE) on 9th and 10th Sept 2023 in various cities across India. The Exam results were declared on 27th Sept 2023.
The counselling begin following the results and was concluded by 31st Dec 2023 and a special stray vacancy round was also concluded by 17th Feb 2024.
It has been 8 months since the conclusion of the NEET SS 2023 counseling, yet some students who participated in the exam have not received their security deposit refunds. Despite contacting the concerned authorities, this issue remains unresolved, even though the counseling process was completed several months ago.

He mentions about the repeated attempts to follow up either with calls or Emails, with MCC and HLL Life-care (Financial Custodian of MCC) have gone unanswered.
The security deposit for NEET Super-Speciality is ₹2,00,000, which is refundable under the conditions specified in the Information Brochure of the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC). It’s important to note that the next NEET SS 2024 is scheduled for March 29-30, 2025.

According to MCC they have refunded to all eligible candidates in a circular released on 30th March 2024, and similarly also released another list of Pending Security Deposit on 09th May 2024.
