
New Delhi (5 Nov): AIIMS New Delhi has released the roll number-wise list of students who have been shortlisted from Stage I of the Institute of National Importance Super-Speciality (INI-SS) Entrance Test. These students are eligible to appear in the Departmental Clinical/Practical/Lab-Based Assessment, which will be conducted via video conferencing for courses at AIIMS and PGIMER Chandigarh. The qualification is based on their performance in the online CBT Examination held on October 25, 2024. This assessment is part of the admission process for DM/MCh/MD-Hospital Administration courses for the January 2025 session at Institutes of National Importance (INIs) for medical education.
The Upload of Documents will be from 6th Nov to 8th Nov 2024 and interviews are scheduled on 12th and 13th November 2024 in various departments via video conferencing. The details of video-conferencing platform and timing of the Assessment shall be communicated to the candidates on their registered email id by the respective Departments.
A total of 1,301 candidates qualified for the INI-SS January 2025 Interview Round (Stage-II) across 61 super-specialty categories. The branches with the highest number of qualified candidates were DM – Cardiology, DM – Gastroenterology, DM – Neurology, DM – Endocrinology, and DM – Critical Care Medicine, reflecting strong competition and interest in these fields.
Out of total 73 Categories, 12 Categories namely DM in Acute Care-Emergency Medicine, DM in Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care, DM in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, DM in Forensic Pathology, Psychiatry, and Radiology, DM in Hepatology, DM in High Altitude Medicine, DM in Histopathology, DM in Hospital Medicine & Critical Care, DM in Medical and Forensic Toxicology, DM in Neuropathology, MCh in Breast, Endocrine and General Surgery and MCh in Minimal Access Surgery & General Surgery – No Candidate was declared qualified.
Candidates who had qualified—three times the seats at AIIMS/PGIMER-Chandigarh or twice at other INIs (NIMHANS-Bengaluru, JIPMER-Pondicherry and SCTIMST)—will proceed to a 20-mark departmental assessment via video conferencing (whichever is higher), this will bring them a step closer to joining elite medical super-specialty fields.
The above candidates are required to upload the scanned copies of the following certificates/documents (as applicable) on AIIMS website through My Page using their credentials for login: ie Matriculation Certificate, Graduation Certificate, Post-graduation certificate, Certificate / Documents in support of Ex-Army Personnel / Ex-Serviceman/ Commissioned Officer Including ECO, SSCO, Any other certificate / document as mentioned in the Prospectus for the respective courses.
Note:- Also mention your subject name, Subject Code and Candidate ID No. on top side of every page of the uploaded document.
Admission is subject to verification of original certificate/document as per eligibility criteria published in prospectus & subsequent notices. Candidature/Admission will be cancelled if any kind of discrepancy detected at any stage.
